We work very hard to keep overhead to a minimum and all of our staff have slots in their client load dedicated to those who have financial distress in addition to their behavioral health concerns.
Last year, we gave away nearly $200,000 in free counseling. Our hope is that no one seeking professional Christian counseling be turned away because they do not have insurance, or cannot afford it. Individuals and families with presented need can apply for scholarship funding through a sliding fee scale used by coaches, counselors and interns. Donations help make this possible.
You can be a part of this ministry team by donating monies, services (see Get Involved), and/or equipment.
WellSpring needs good computers, TV/DVD players, video projectors, video cameras, easels, whiteboards, and more. Your equipment donation needs to be in excellent condition, and not in need of repair. The same can be said for gently used, high quality furniture (couches, stuffed chairs, waiting room chairs, floor lamps, etc.) If you've been to our offices, you might find it hard to believe that most of the furnishings in our offices have been provided through the generousity of people who believe in this ministry.
Tax deductible monetary donations to WellSpring can be made: 1. on line using your credit card through Youth For Christ's secure website (make sure to designate your gift to WellSpring in the Comments and designation area); or 2. through checks made out to “WellSpring” sent to our office: 1115 Bethel Road 1st Floor, Columbus Ohio 43220. You may indicate your desire to have that donation be dedicated to or in honor of, an individual (i.e. a counselor or coach), a project (i.e. Scholarship Fund, Bowlathon, Website, New Computer, etc.), or a program (i.e. Coaching, EMI workshops, etc.). All charitable gifts are tax deductible through Central Ohio Youth For Christ, through whom you will receive a receipt.
