Cat works with the WellSpring Community Outreach Team and provides community-based counseling using a highly relational and trauma-informed approach. WellSpring Community Outreach (WSCO) primarily serves 11-19 year olds with a Medicaid Managed Care Plan in their own environment, at school, home, or in the community. Cat has worked in community mental health off and on for 10 years. Cat’s also held roles mentoring and counseling individuals during and post incarceration, mentoring and counseling at-risk and high-risk youth, counseling survivors of sex-trafficking, and counseling with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health concerns (PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Spiritual issues, etc.). Cat is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Feedback Informed Therapy, and In-Home Behavioral Therapy. Cat aims to create a strong therapeutic alliance during sessions and uses a compilation of therapy approaches to best support the person seeking counseling. Cat enjoys planning and attending parties with friends, going to Metro Parks around Columbus with her family, and watching nature survival shows with her husband.
