Emily Carter

CT

Emily is passionate about mental health. Through her own journey with counseling she grew a burden to become a counselor herself to help others experience the same healing. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. She is dedicated to making the counseling space personal, safe, accepting, and focused on bringing out the client’s strengths. She offers the integration of biblical principles within counseling, if a client requests it.

Emily and her husband are involved in Dwell Community Church and she serves in the student ministries, teaching the Bible and mentoring young women. She loves to spend time with friends, read, watch her favorite shows, and she’s often enjoying different coffee drinks made at home or from shops around Columbus. One of her deepest joys is building relationships and this is why she has such a love for the counseling space. She is committed to coming alongside clients to build a collaborative relationship that truly personalizes care.
