Jen Rishell

LPC

Jen has obtained her Masters in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. The Lord has led her to Christian counseling in order to walk with others, towards the hope found in Christ, through listening and encouragement. She currently works with adolescents (12-18), young adults, and adults working through anxiety, depression, past and current traumas, life adjustments, loss, spiritual difficulties, and career decisions.

Jen also has a Masters of Education in Special Education with a focus in Learning Disabilities. Her 20 years in education has given her experience in working with individuals with learning disabilities, emotional disturbance, cognitive disabilities, ADHD, executive functioning skills, effects of trauma in the academic setting, school based behaviors, assisting parents with child’s behaviors, and effective management of parent/child relationships.

Jen is trained in Formational Prayer through Healing Care Ministries, a member of the American Christian Counseling Association, and an active member of a local church. She enjoys serving in the community, traveling to visit family, and loves watching and attending sporting events.
